Maciej (CTO) and I had the pleasure of working with Kat as Head of Design. We both clicked right away from during the interviews, and realized she was not just an amazing, all-round talented designer...

but also a strong and wonderful human being to spend time with, often chatting away for hours despite our time zone differences.

What impressed me most was Kat's holistic approach to design. She didn't just do interfaces or product design, but also knew exactly what we needed when our brand was due a refresh.

Kat understood people, and wasn't afraid to tackle unconventional design challenges, like creating a CLI experience that reflected our brand.

She dove in headfirst, proving that great design is about serving people where they are.

Kat was also instrumental in establishing the company brand identity, creating something distinctive that helped our seed-stage company stand out and punch well above its weight.

The branding work she led generated genuinely positive feedback at industry conferences—no small feat in a crowded B2B space where most companies blend together in a black, white and purple lookalike competition.

The most remarkable feat was that she partnered with our CTO to ship a beautiful marketing site in just two days during an onsite—a testament to both her ability to work at startup speed and her exceptional collaboration skills.

There's so much more to say: she's an empathetic listener who truly takes the time to understand stakeholder needs, highly organized in her approach (a blessing for our chaotic 0→1 state),

She knew exactly what she wanted to achieve and was able to get it done effectively.

We'd love to work with Kat again, and any team would be fortunate to have her blend of strategic design thinking, execution excellence, and collaborative leadership.
